What kind of events do you play?
We are incredibly versatile! The Island Guys perform at everything from intimate backyard parties and beach weddings to large-scale corporate conventions, concerts, festivals, and country club galas. If you want a tropical vibe, we’re the right fit.
How much space do you need?
We are experts at fitting into various venues. Generally, a 10' x 10' area is perfect for the full band, but we can often adapt to smaller stages or cozy patio corners if needed.
Do you provide your own sound equipment?
Yes! We are fully self-contained. We bring our own professional-grade sound system (PA) and equipment. All we need from the venue is a dedicated power outlet within 50 feet of the performance area.
Can you play songs that aren't "Island" music?
Absolutely. While we love Calypso and Reggae, our repertoire also includes Motown, Top 40, Jazz, Latin, Hawaiian and even Classic Rock. We love putting a "tropical twist" on some recognizable hits to keep your guests singing along. We also provide full DJ services.
How far do you travel?
We love bringing the island sounds to new places! We primarily serve Michigan area, but we are available for travel. Note: Travel fees may apply for events outside a 100-mile radius.
What is your booking process?
It’s simple! Once you request a quote from us, we’ll discuss your date, duration, and vision. To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a small deposit. After that, your "island escape" is officially on the calendar!
